On 24 July 2025 @eve.el.cholo posted a 9-second clip from a quinceañera in Coahuila, Mexico: a young man in a black STAFF polo walks across the dance floor, takes a bite of a concha (a round Mexican sweet bread), stares straight into the party videographer's camera and dances off. It has 7.9 million plays, and the caption calls it "el video original".
On 17 October 2026 @elmariobrox posted an AI version with a moustached cowboy in his place, captioned "Dime dime baby" and set to the hook of KAROL G, Judeline and rusowsky's "BbY WOW". It passed 1.8 million plays, and his sound is the one the remakes use. CapCut tutorials followed the next day, tagged "guy dancing and eating" and "Dominican Papi AI dance".
Bby Wow, Dime Dime Baby, baby wow: one trend
- Bby Wow (also typed baby wow): the English name, from the song title "BbY WOW".
- Dime Dime Baby (in Spanish, Dime Dime Baby IA): the line from that song, "tell me, tell me, baby", and the name Latin American viewers search for.

- Face large and front-on. At about 3 seconds your face fills the frame; caps pulled low and sunglasses make it drift.
