How to Do the A2O LITE NEON Dance
The NEON dance is the 15-second duo at the start of A2O LITE's debut song: a sway, a spin kick, a high-and-low pose and a squat. Covers and AI pets, nicknamed A2O MEOW, took off on 14 October 2026. This guide is the origin, the beats, the photos, the one-tap method, the do-it-yourself method and what usually goes wrong.
What the NEON duo is
A2O LITE is a nine-member group from A2O Entertainment, the company of producer Lee Soo-man. SBS reported that NEON came out at 6pm Korean time on 13 October 2026 and reached No. 1 on Melon's TOP100 at 11pm on 14 October, 29 hours later. The same report describes the members as aged 13 to 17.
The song opens on a two-person routine. SBS quoted choreographer J-Black, who wrote on 14 October that he helped create that opening duo for members Ciri and Aijing, with Lee Dong-gyu and Choi In-young of Cream Dance on production and training. Fans call the one-legged turn the killing part. On TikTok the name is often spelled A20 LITE, with a zero.
The challenge started the next morning. @wendyyyxi and a friend filmed the intro in a glass-roofed atrium. @rroyhew54 posted A2O MEOW, two AI cats dancing it upright in a lavender studio. As of 17 October those clips had about 92,300 and 27,500 views, and #a2olite had 4,656 videos and 136.9 million views.
Do not use the group's own video
The members are minors. A usable AI version replaces both dancers with adults who agreed, or with pets. It does not paste the group's faces onto a fancam, and it does not start from their performance. The people versions here follow the adult atrium cover. A2O MEOW follows the AI cat reel.
If a photo is a member of A2O LITE, another celebrity, or a child, do not upload it. The consent box on the maker says the same thing.
The 15 seconds, beat by beat
The atrium cover is one continuous vertical shot. The camera sits low, in front of the dancers, and does not cut. Both stay full body. Times below are from that clip:

On the cat reel the high-and-low pose is swapped: the right pet is the one on the floor. Follow that reel for pets, and the atrium cover for people.
The two photos
- Photo 1, left. One person or one pet. On the duo they start a step in front.
- Photo 2, right. The friend or the second pet. A group photo does not work: the model needs one face per image.
- Body in frame. The camera sees them from head to feet, so a tight face crop loses the outfit and the legs.
- No sunglasses, no mask, no heavy filter. The kick and the hair whip already blur a face. A covered face comes back as someone else.

Practice room still follows the atrium cover's timing. Only the room changes. A2O MEOW follows the cat reel, including the swapped high-and-low pose, and stays horizontal so neither pet is cropped.
Make it without the template
You need a reference-to-video model, two photos, and a 15-second motion clip that is not the group's performance. Seedance 2.0 Mini at 720p is the setup this template uses. Tell the model which photo is left and which is right, and write the four moves with times: sway, spin kick, high-and-low, squat. Say the cover's white jacket, camouflage pants, beanie and striped top appear only if the photo has them.
For pets, say each animal keeps its own fur, stands on its hind legs, and uses paws. The right pet is the one that drops. Generate the picture without relying on the model to sing, then lay the same 15 seconds of the intro from the first frame. The recording belongs to its owners.
A prompt with no reference video will invent a K-pop routine that is not this intro. The kick at about 6 seconds and the pose at 12 seconds are the parts a text-only run drops.
What goes wrong
